LONDON

HORSFORD ROAD,
BRIXTON

The project challenge of this small-semidetached house was to create a wide kitchen/dining opening into the rear garden lounge for a family who host dinner party quite often.

The main feature of the all design concept is the light as several roof lights and skylights have been fitted on the roof to let the light flow from top to bottom floor through the stairwell.

An important detail, which has made really contemporary that Victorian house, is the new solid oak staircase which has a full glass balustrade bringing the roof light to flow into the entrance hall before entering the most spacious and bright kitchen/dining area at the rear.
